We are finally starting to see some plot lines that do not include Nancy. In this episode we saw Shane lose his virginity to two goth girls from his new school and Silas come to an understanding with Lisa that they should just enjoy the relationship they have now instead of worrying or thinking about their future together. Doug also finally got his “mermex” across the boarder - but in the process, lost his job as a minuteman because his and Andy’s scheme was uncovered by the head minuteman - whether this means an end to their new “coyote” enterprise is still to be determined. Meanwhile, Celia is confronted by Isabelle, Dean and a few others to conduct an intervention due to her recent drug use - all of which appears to end when Isabelle threatens to tell her grandmother, Celia’s mom, about the drug use - go girl! As for Nancy, what a trip - and I mean that literally. She begins experiencing migraines and Esteban has a South American man come to his apartment with something from the Brazilian rain forest that he compares to peyote, a “bicycle,” while this is a “rocket ship.” Her trip leads her to question the mother she has become and seemingly have the possibility of throwing the plot line for yet another loop.
