Yet another great episode! It begins when Nancy and Guillermo are called into Esteban’s office where she learns Guillermo claimed he was going to have her killed in front of her children for going behind his back and asking Esteban for the pot - something Esteban tells Guillermo will not happen. After this little confession, Esteban takes Nancy out to lunch where someone tries to assasinate him - just another morning for Nancy…
Meanwhile, back in Renbar, Shane and Isabelle are at the first day of school. Shane asks who the most popular kid in his grade is and proceeds to introduce himself to this “Dan” by hitting in the face with his lunch tray and telling him not to F with him. What a timid boy he’s becoming.
Silas is busy hanging out at his new girlfriend’s cheese shop discussing ways she could improve business. In a bit of a forced plot twist, she takes him into the back of the shop and immediately takes a hit off a bong and passes it to Silas - not too subtle nor believeable. Anyway, when she passes the bong to him, he takes a hit and tells her she’s eating the cheezewiz of pot and that he should know because he grows for a living. This leads her to eventually suggest that he grow in her back room at the store because “cheese over-powers all other smells.”
As for he two crackpots, Andy and Doug are busy making their first run as coyotes - Doug clearing the way as a supposed Minuteman, and Andy as the “Moses” of the Mexicans. Too bad Andy completely forgets to demand payment for their services. And Andy’s past experience, resulting in shooting the coyote he met a few episodes ago, seems to be coming back to haunt him - that man, with his leg in a brace, learns Andy is running his own coyote service.
Lastly, Celia has become addicted to Xanax and some inhalant the watchman at the tunnel gives her. Of course this leads to major trouble for her because she begins to use the store’s money to pay for the drug - fun times…
