Branch Wars - 11/01/07
Funny episode of The Office last night. The Jim/Karen encounter was appropriately uncomfortable and awkward.
The Office is a strange show in that three weeks ago I was complaining about how ludicrous it was that Michael drove his car into a lake the way he did, but last night I found it perfectly plausible that he’d dress as a warehouse person to go play a prank on a competing branch. Weird. Enjoyable that Michael and Dwight tricked Jim into coming with them.
Hopefully the show is back on track now that they’re doing half hour episodes again. I think they try way to hard to stretch it into an hour.

Who will the next interview scene (alone, talking to the camera) be with?
The first interview scene this week was with Karen…reminiscing about her days at Scranton.
In the next episode of The Office, Jim’s ex-girlfriend Karen will return and attempt to lure Stanley away from Scranton. Stanley will:
“Will consider leaving but will ultimately decide to stay because of something Michael says or does” is the correct answer - Michael in effect calls Stanley’s bluff, so he had something to do with Stanley staying.
Will Roy return in the next episode to find out Pam and Jim are dating?
Nope - still no sign of Roy this season.
