Season 4: The Economist - 2/15/08
I’ve officially reached the “WTF?!” stage with this show. As in, “What the f*#k was that all about?” There’s so much going on in Lost right now, it’s becoming diificult to keep track of it all.
As a friend mentioned to me, we’ve reached a point with Lost where we are getting alot of information before we need it. It’s turning everything on it’s head, and it’s either completely compelling or utterly frustrating depending on your perspective. Sayid starts working (and killing people) for Ben? The same man he tortured on the island? What??? How in the world does that come about?
What about the “time anomoly” the island creates? There seem to be some different points of view on this….but whatever the case…time is different on the island then it is in the rest of the world. There may be a perfectly good explanation for this, or a perfectly crappy one. I’m obvisouly hoping for the former.
One thing that did become more clear in this episode: One of the secrets of the Oceanic Six is definitely centered on hiding the island and the people that remain on it. But it’s still unclear why people are out to destroy it…hopefully things will start becoming clear soon!
Betting Recap:
Who will the next flashback/forward sequence be about?
It was Sayid - who apparently becomes an assassin for Ben.
Who will be the next character to be revealed as part of the “Oceanic 6″?
Also Sayid.
Will any guns be fired in this episode?
Yep - Sayid uses a gun a couple different times during the flashforward.
