What is TVBigBoard?
TVBigBoard is a free, interactive entertainment site that allows you to bet tokens – which we call “BigBoard Bucks” - on the plot twists, character developments and other results of your favorite TV shows.
For each show on this site you will find questions, as well as potential answers to those questions, about things that may happen in upcoming episodes.
How do I play?
· Register with TVBigBoard and receive 50,000 BigBoard Bucks to start playing!
· Once you register, a password will be emailed to you. Use the password to log into TVBigBoard for the first time. You will be prompted to change your password once you login.
· Upon logging in, you will see your current balance of BigBoard Bucks in the upper right hand portion of the site.
· Click on a show that interests you using the show navigation on the left hand side of this page. The show navigation will appear on every page you visit.
· Each show page contains a recap from the prior week’s episode, as well as 7 – 10 questions for the next new episode.
· Each question has several potential answers regarding what may happen. All answers have odds (more on this below) associated with them, as well as a box to place your bet in.
How do I place a bet?
· Place your bet by entering the amount you would like to wager in the box, and hit the “submit” button. Your wager must fall within the minimum/maximum range identified for that bet.
· A message will appear saying that your bet has been received.
· You can only bet on each answer once.
· You will not be able to change a bet once it is placed. You can go to your MyTVBB account summary and see information on the bet you have placed.
· You can submit multiple bets within a question, but you can only submit bets one question at a time.
· Questions will close on the date and time provided at the bottom of each question box. All questions close on Eastern Standard Time.
How do I win?
· Generally speaking, all closed bets will be processed by 12:00pm EST the morning after a new episode airs.
· Any longer term questions that remain unanswered after a particular episode will remain on the site until they are determined by events in the show.
· TVBigBoard will post a recap of the latest episode, which will include the final answers for all questions that closed. These can be reached from each show home page.
· All decisions on answers are final, but TVBigBoard will generally give credit to multiple answers if there is any doubt about a particular outcome.
· Your BB Bucks balance will reflect any new payouts. You can also check your MyTVBB account summary to see the details on recently closed bets.
· Use your BB Bucks to purchase entries into our monthly giveaway contest, or towards making additional bets!
Odds and payouts:
· Every answer has odds associated with it. The odds will determine your payout if you win a bet.
· Odds are subjectively determined by TVBigBoard based on our belief in the likelihood that something will occur. The higher the odds, the higher the payout, but the lower the chance of success.
· All payouts are calculated as: your bet + (your bet x odds factor). For example, if you bet 100 BigBoard Bucks on something with 3 – 1 odds, your payout will be: 100 + (100 x 3) = 400 BigBoard Bucks.
