Lois runs for Mayor because she is upset to find out the local Quahog Oil Company refinery is dumping untreated wasted into the nearby lake. Every time she has difficulty getting her way, she references terrorism. Sound familiar?
At the mayoral debate:
Quahog citizen: “What will you do about the environment?” Lois: “9/11”
Another Quahog citizen: “Mrs. Griffin, what do you think about our traffic problem?” Lois: “9/11”
