Delight: right off the bat we put through Lakisha and Blake (two powerful singers AND performers), to satisfy me - Chris Richardson also made it through, as did...Doolittle. I applauded that "the other Chris who looks like the Osborne kid" made it. One of the two guys, Jared who got kicked out was just as bad as Stacey and Rogers but the one who deserved it the most but wasn’t kicked out was…
Disgust: Sanjaya Malakar. He is now in the top 12 – automatic tour candidate. The dude cannot sing! He doesn’t even have cross-continent looks! Is he the next Ricky Martin, yet without the sexiness, dance movies, or fashion? If anything he keeps people tuned into Idol to see if/when/if he gets kicked off.

Yeah, I can't even rationally discuss last night. I'm almost tempted to take the "final 8 guys perform" blog down, because it was so attrociously wrong.
Sanjaya looks completely mortified that he's still in it. give him credit for being self aware.
I have mixed feelings about that girl Haley (aka the token cute white girl now). I actually like her, but she's had such a rough time already, i feel like it's just extending the torture.
