Making an Initial Post - A Secondary One

If I couldn't type my posts here and then copy and paste them into Word to check for spelling and structure - I'd be lost in the online era. Even still at times a mistake is made. Will I have the ability in the future to delete or edit a post (until there are replies)?(Later)
