Why so many "1-1" wagers on the site? Yes, there may be a sense of pride of getting a wager correct but a "1-1" wager only wins back the original bet.

I think there should be more, at least, "2-1" wagers.

  2. Actually the 1-1 bet is a common misconception in terms of only winning your original bet back. Any time you win a bet, you get your original bet back, plus any winnings from the payout.

A 1-1 bet is considered "even money" - if you win, for every BigBoard buck you bet, you'll get one back on top of your original bet. If the odds are 2 - 1, you get two bucks back on top of your original bet. So, if I put 5,000 BigBoard bucks down a 2-1 bet, and win, I will be getting 5,000 (my orig. bet) + 10,000 (the payout) put back in my account.
