Tonight was the moment of truth for last Wednesday’s acts. Moving on were:
Paul Salos as Sinatra
The Wright Kids
Daniel Jens
Queen Emily
The ZOOperstars – sent through by the judges
…meaning the acts sent home were:
Kasual
Jonathan Arons
George The Giant
The Slippery Kittens Burlesque
Beyond Belief Dance Company – sent home by the judges
As for tonight’s performances, there were some pathetic efforts, and a few strong ones:
The Texas State Strutters – “I think with those cheesy grins and kicks, you should take it under water and be synchronized swimmers”
Michael Strelo-Smith – “I look at what you did and everything screams music teacher”
Bruce Block – “You represent all magicians in this country, you had your chance to impress the everyone, and you’ve just blown it”
Shequida – “You’re a one-woman, one-man party – but tonight was a bit campy”
Taubl Family – “Terrific performance tonight,” “it was all looking very grim tonight until you came on”
Jonathan Burkin – “There’s one word for that – incredible”
Sarah Lenore – “Your daddy should be really proud of you tonight… and if I were a betting man, you’re in the top ten”
SickStep – “You did a damn good job… you’ve proven me you are more than street entertainers”
Mattthew Piazzi – “I think you blew it big time… you’re a great impersonator, an average singer”
Joseph Hall – “Before tonight, I thought you were one of the shoe-in favorites. But tonight the singing was a little sketchy.”
