Season 7 - Final 11 Perform - 3/18/08
Has there ever been a batch of contestants that appeared more awkward on stage? It seems like all of the contestants have some sort of achilles heel when it comes to their performance - or they rely on some sort of crutch to get by. It wasn’t like this last year.
It’s possible that everyone is still just getting used to being there…or maybe it’s the song category. It’ll be interesting to see who breaks out of their shell first.
Some miscellaneous thoughts about the night:
Best Overall Performance - Probably goes to David Cook…I actually enjoyed the whole thing.
Worst Overall Performance - I may be biased, but I’m saying Amanda. Simon’s right…it’s the same thing each week, and it’s not particularly good.
Who’s stock is rising? - After a tough week last week, Syesha bounced back this week.
Who’s stock is falling? - Have to give this to Chikizie…he sort of did the exact opposite of Syesha.
Bottom Three - Kristy Lee Cook, Chikizie, and probably Ramiele…it’s hard to confidently put anyone else there, though I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it’s Amanda.
Safe this week - Based on the above bottom three….Ramiele. I think she did just enough to get by.
Going home - It’s Kristy’s week….
