-President Palmer retains the presidency after Vice President Daniels requests a vote from the administration cabinet and subsequently (after he loses) the Supreme Court. President Palmer is taking (borderline abusing) adrenaline shots to give him the energy run the country after sustaining such major injuries.
-President Palmer orders a nuclear strike against Fayed’s country. Odd? Yes! Could be the adrenaline shots, could be a sign of weakness, could be a ploy by the writers to throw the viewers off. Stay Tuned!
-Tom Lennox blackmails VP Daniels with an audio tape of his telling Lisa (the VP Aide) to lie to the Supreme Court to get him the presidency.
-Jack grants Gridenko amnesty if he helps CTU find Fayed, which he does. However, once Gridenko and Fayed are alone, Gridenko tells him everything and tries to help him help escape.
-Milo mistakingly entered the wrong security codes into the CTU computer system allowing the hacker - from episode 9:00PM - 10:00PM - to penetrate the system and allow the drone plane carrying the nuclear bomb to go untracked for so long. Doyle tells Nadia and proceeds to alter the data to avoid any major issues during a day that is crazy enough.
