Bill and Karen’s argument is about Karen’s need (politically) to fire Bill from CTU because of a Department of Justice (DoJ) investigation into Fayed. Bill held Fayed at one point and released him due to lack of evidence. Given the circumstances of this day, the DoJ is out to place blame on someone. Bill needs to be the scapegoat. Vice President Daniels and Lisa kiss in the oval office. This subplot could get mighty interesting.
